Jazmine Williams

Jazmine Williams is a mother, writer, producer, and business entrepreneur. Jazmine began her writing career at 14 years old as a founding member of the award winning non-profit and A- G accredited curriculum, Get Lit Words Ignite. By the age of 18, Jazmine's poetry had opened for Mariah Shriver, Marianne Williamson, Tim Robbins, and honored Michelle Obama. After returning from Clark Atlanta University in 2013, Jazmine worked in TV, film, and event production as a Producer and Production Manager. She has since continued to produce and manage a number of high-profile immersive events at the intersection of social activism, entertainment, and radical self- love. Her most recent work includes private event producer at California Community Foundation, operations manager at Hip Hop Caucus, as well as program manager at Into Action by Task Force, and We Rise by the LA County Department of Mental Health. Jazmine was a featured writer and performer on the award winning film, Birth Of A Nation in 2016, an opening act for John Legend in 2018 at Into Action, and the feature poet of Oge Egbuono's directorial debut (In)Visible Portraits available to stream on Amazon and Apple TV in the summer of 2020.
