Christina Miles

Christina Miles is a 17 year old story teller based in Orange County, California with an affinity for all things history and linguistics related. She is a performance poet; she has won awards such as the Scholastic Gold Key award and National Gold Medal for her poem "The Old Testament", a YoungArts Performance Poetry winner, and member of the performance poetry troupe GetLit Players, from GetLit: Words Ignite. As an editor on her school's award winning annual literary magazine Inkblot, she hopes to uplift voices that challenge the status quo. When she is not writing poetry, she is pursuing her passion in the film industry with her all female production crew Films for Our Future. A JStor Enthusiast and Basset Hound lover, her greatest goal in life is to be an Ancient history professor at a college with gothic architecture, and have an endless supply of Earl Grey Tea.
